I'm Running Away

I’m running away

Yesterday I quit my job or should I say my job quit me
It's time to move on and have some fun. Gotta find a new place to be

Today I woke up dreaming how sweet it would be
Leave it all Except my soul
To spend my life in the back country

I and I , maybe you and you live in the woods... That's what we'd do
Cook on a fire and cherish the mire
Sip on some homemade brew

I'm runnin and I'm runnin away
But I don't got a tent so I'll stay and pay rent and be with you all day

Tomorrow I’ll look up and wonder
Why do I exist
Am I a connection or just a reflection, a toy or a cyst

Next year I may still stand there
And admire the things I don't know
With so much land and not enough time. How can I choose where to go?

I and I. Maybe you and you can come ride the bung-a-loo
If you’re too tired I'll paint you a picture of our homemade back wood
stew!

I'm runnin and I'm runnin I’m running away
But I don't got a job so I have to stay
I guess I'll run another day

I can't run I can't run I can't run today so I guess I'll just sit and
play music all day ‘til I find a way to run away
